Evergreen Noordhoek Launches!

*Editorial contribution

The Amdec Group is proud to announce the launch of its latest Evergreen Lifestyle retirement village in picturesque Noordhoek.

Evergreen Noordhoek is the Group’s sixth village in a steadily expanding national portfolio, and represents an R880 million investment in creating the largest Evergreen village to-date.  Established on 16 hectares of prime ground overlooking the Noordhoek valley, the village will comprise 150 houses and 200 apartments, along with a state-of-the-art 4000 square metre Lifestyle and Care Centre, and a host of outdoor recreational facilities to complement a wonderful coastal lifestyle.

Evergreen Noordhoek finds its home at the corner of Glencairn Expressway and Kommetjie Road, a sought-after location in the South Peninsula, which is proving to be a highly popular retirement node. The Evergreen Noordhoek village also affords easy access to the coastline and its many fascinating villages and markets. Residents will enjoy the endless stretch of beaches for which the Noordhoek valley is known, along with the many spectacular mountain walks and outdoor activities. Life enjoyed in this unique ‘town meets country’ village means close proximity to nature as well as to Long Beach Mall and the charming Noordhoek Farm Village.

Evergreen Developments Director Cobus Bedeker believes that the new village will become a real asset in the Evergreen brand’s portfolio. “The Evergreen Noordhoek site is perfect for a retirement village,” he says: “it offers us acres of space, gently sloping north-facing grounds and great views. We have spent lots of time preparing the land for the roads and civil works which are now under construction. Our landscaping will create a scenic backdrop for these homes and we cannot wait to see it all come together.”

The first phase sees the introduction of 46 three bedroom, two bathroom houses with double garages which enjoy prime positions and are architect-designed to make the most of the interior spaces. Along with signature quality fixtures and finishes, owners will enjoy the flexibility of using the third bedroom as an office or study, and selecting optional covered patios to extend the living spaces for seamless indoor and outdoor flows. These are attractively priced to make buying now a real advantage.

DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO BUY A HOME AT EVERGREEN NOORDHOEK

“Interest in Evergreen Noordhoek has resulted in a number of pre-sales, and we have a fast growing list of reserves,” says Evergreen National Sales Director, Phil Wilson. “Buyers will get their pick of prime village stands in a pocket that is terraced to provide excellent views,” he says: “and given the fact that phase one homes are attractively priced, there is a real incentive to buy now.

“Evergreen also accepts ‘subject to sale’ offers and will help to facilitate the sale and transfer of your existing home. These benefits mean that you’ll be settled and content with little hassle or fuss, looking forward to enjoying life in one of the most prized and beautiful corners of the country,“ Wilson concludes.

AN ABUNDANT LIFESTYLE  Evergreen’s approach to retirement living brings active aging, comprehensive healthcare, financial and physical security – along with numerous services and facilities - which together  delivers a wonderful retirement lifestyle. And because Evergreen remains the owner of the village, the environment will be brilliantly managed and maintained, allowing for residents to relax and enjoy the time of their lives doing the things they most enjoy.

The Evergreen Lifestyle Centre’s facilities provide 2000m² of places and spaces within which a vibrant community will thrive. Residents can choose to start their day with a workout in the gym, a dip in the heated pool, or a meal in the dining room. In addition, a TV lounge, games room, library and salon match wonderful outdoor lifestyle facilities - an entertainment deck, tennis court and bowling green.

ACTIVE AGING  Arthur Case, Evergreen Group CEO believes that active aging is one key to a fulfilling retirement. “At Evergreen we’ve always maintained that an active body and mind are essential for a rewarding lifestyle,” he says. “Sustained independence, vitality, friendships and a vibrant, companionable community make for retirement living at its best. Evergreen’s supportive services allow residents to retain a high level of independence, and freedom from obligations means they can pursue new interests and friendships, and reignite forgotten passions. Our resort-style communal facilities and many wonderful activities provide endless opportunities for fun and relaxation and a real sense of belonging.

“A socially active and rewarding lifestyle is always our goal. Whilst clubs and relationships form naturally in every village, we go further with initiatives like Evergreen’s digital ‘Connect’ platform which includes ‘how to’ training for less tech-savvy residents!” Case concludes.

RELAX, UNWIND, ENJOY  Evergreen’s sales approach provides the flexibility, affordability and security for real financial peace of mind. Philip Wilson explains: “Our internationally popular Life Right model offers many advantages over its sectional title counterpart; notably occupation of a home for life with flexible purchase options, transparent and affordable levies, and no special levies, transfer duty or registration costs. Purchasers enjoy the freedom to structure their purchases according to their means, or to have their families purchase a home on their behalf. The 350 houses and apartments provide the ideal village size for excellent levy economics and Evergreen residents can confidently plan and fund a lifestyle tailored to their particular circumstances, without concerns regarding sustainability and affordability.”

HEALTHCARE WHEN YOU NEED IT    Evergreen provides a managed, healthy lifestyle within a continuing care environment, specifically tailored to meet residents’ needs. “Our active aging philosophy is supported by personalised home-based healthcare, administered by well trained, friendly staff,” Evergreen Lifestyle Villages Managing Director, Derek Drew explains. “The Evergreen Care Centre will house a Primary Health Care Suite anda Frail Care Unit .  Our partnership with national specialist care group, Unique Health, offers us an experienced, brilliantly trained and managed team of carers and nurses to go with our layered and discreet approach; with care for those who need it and great health and active lifestyles for everyone in order to combat aging and the onset of frailty.Residents will be able to relax in the knowledge that - should they need it - help is always at hand, with nurse call alarms in every home,” Drew advises.

SAFE AND SECURE

The advantages of security village living are numerous, and Evergreen has taken these to a new level. Walled villages with electric fencing, CCTV cameras, 24-hour patrols and push-button assistance are the minimum standard. This naturally provides Evergreen residents and their families with real assurance.
